I can assist with:

- Helping you maintain a healthy balance with body weight
- Reducing the risk of chronic disease development, and/or alleviate the symptoms associated with chronic disease
- The development of a delicious and wholesome meal plan that supports good health and simplifies food
Services
Initial consultation:
45-60 minutes
During this consultation, data is collected pertaining to health, diet and lifestyle, allowing for tailored nutrition advice to be provided. Together we set short and long-term health and lifestyle goals.
Review consultation:
45 minutes
This appointment allows for the assessment of goal attainment as well as modification to your nutrition plan as goals are met and/or barriers to change are encountered. Motivation and support to aid you in overcoming any challenges are the foundation at all review appointments. Nutrition education pertaining to relevant medical conditions as well as any questions you may have will always be provided during these appointments as well.
Express review consultation:
30 minutes
This appointment serves as a quick check-in to keep you on track as you progress on your health and nutrition journey. It always pays to touch base, even when things are going great. That's what these appointments are for.
Answers to any questions you may have will always be provided during these appointments as well.
Meal plans:
Personalised
Sometimes you just want to be told what to eat! And that's ok! I can develop a personalised one or two-week meal plan for you. An initial and subsequent review consultation must be attended to ascertain meal preferences and eating patterns to ensure this is completely tailored to you. These are an additional expense.
Is a referral needed
to see me?
- A referral is not needed to see me. However, if you have a chronic medical condition, you may be eligible for a Medicare Enhanced Primary Careplan (EPC)/Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP). With this, you will receive a Medicare rebate of $56.00 for a maximum of 5 appointments in a calendar year (please note, these 5 appointments are often split between a variety of allied health professionals). Only your GP can issue these Careplans.
Can I claim a rebate from my private health fund?
- Most private health funds also offer rebates for diet and nutrition consultations depending on your level of cover. Please check with your health fund to confirm your level of cover and what specific rebate is offered.
